So as I mentioned earlier my boyfriend got pairs of British Standard stockings one was closed toe, one was open toe; this review talks about the open toe version.

He thought it was going to be very very tight on the foot but actually according to him it wasn’t tight at all and it was very comfortable compared with the closed-toe one that he had on and I mentioned before the the prescription was generic but we got two different brands the interesting thing about this stocking was that it was very slippy on the outside but it seems to be less sleepy on the Inside

So this one did not fall down at all during the day which for my boyfriend was very very useful and was not a pain in his ass.

The open toe back was pretty good but it slips back on the foot during the day and by the end of the day it caused to a red mark around the foot and then if we look at the ankle again, even though it wasn’t as uncomfortable as it closed toe version, it had caused some damage in the ankle area which is not surprising really.

The Open Toe BS soc
You Can see the lines it has caused on the skin
The BS sock starts to roll down the foot
You can see it starting to roll back down the foot
The Open Toe BS sock would cause damage to fragile skin?
A pressure sore waiting to happen?

As I said before we are extremely grateful for having these socks however when we go back for another prescription we may well see what else is available.
